Work with CPC as a subEvery job is worth a set number of points, from 9 for a quick job up to 50 for the biggest ones. You earn between $2.40 and $3.00 for each point you complete, and you're paid every Friday.
Most techs make $150 to $300 a day. Where you land depends on your route and how much available work you pick up on top of it.
As a 1099 contractor you're paid the full amount, with nothing withheld. Taxes and fuel are on you, so set money aside for both from your first check.
Showing up for the work you've taken on.

What customers say after you leave
Every new CPC tech trains for 2 to 3 weeks alongside one of our leads, paid $15 an hour. You'll learn the install standards, the equipment and how a route runs, on real jobs.
When your trainer says you're ready, sometimes sooner than three weeks, you get your own truck and start running routes at the per-point rate. If you need a little more time, you get it.

Internet service is part of everyday life now. Families rely on it for work, school and staying in touch, and our installers are the people who connect it.
The work is hands-on and it moves fast. Each day you run a route of jobs across the metro, from quick 9-point jobs to 50-point ones, and you can pick up available work on top of your route. You'll be in neighborhoods, in yards and inside customers' homes.
Some days are simple, and some days make you think on your feet. That is part of the work.

Skill matters. Consistency matters more. The installers who do well here usually have a few things in common.
They show up when they say they will, and nobody has to chase them down.
A clean line, a respectful conversation with the customer, and a job done right the first time all matter.
Not every job goes to plan. Good installers stay calm, adapt and keep moving.
